These devices make it possible to create a virtual invisible fence or “curtain”, the penetration of which will trigger an alarm. They can be used to secure both the fencing of the premises as well as the line of the external walls of the building. They have two detection paths: infrared and microwave, each with independently adjustable sensitivity. Therefore, operation of the detectors can be customized to the function performed, characteristics of the protected building as well as the needs of its users.

These devices are one of the most advanced detectors for perimeter protection. In order to detect intrusion attempts, they use infrared beams continuously transmitted between a transmitter and a receiver. Due to considerable distances between these two elements, active infrared detectors may be used for effective protection of large spaces. The detectors offered by EGITS are properly proofed against weather conditions, which enables them to be used outdoors to detect potential intruders entering protected premises.

As far as acoustic signalling is concerned, two popular solutions are used. Sirens fitted with piezo-acoustic transducers emit disturbing high-frequency and high-intensity sounds. However, if the device is installed in a location characterised by high noise intensity, sirens equipped with a dynamic tube transducer may be a better solution. Their characteristics include more penetrating sounds attracting the required attention in noisy surroundings.

As far as optical signalling is concerned, not long ago, different designs were used, i.e. from the simplest signalling by means of simple electric bulbs to flash discharge lamps. Presently, LEDs have been used most commonly as they combine advantages of these both solutions, i.e. reliability and perfect effectiveness.

EGITS sirens enclosures are made of plastic. This ensures not only their more attractive appearance in comparison with other materials, but also longer life cycles. One must remember that not all materials are suitable for application in different weather conditions. Sirens may be exposed to high and low temperatures, strong winds, humidity or UV radiation. However, these devices must be resistant not only to environmental impacts, but also intended actions aimed at their damaging.

Indoor sirens play a different role. Their main task it to “stun” an intruder by means of high-intensity sounds. Indoor siren enclosures are smaller and the electronic systems used do not require protection against environmental conditions. In certain situations both optical and acoustic signalling is important inside buildings. An example of such a situation may be a siren connected to an alarm system in a shop located within a shopping center or installed on a staircase as an element of an alarm system in a flat.

For the majority of EGITS’s devices it is possible to update their software. Thanks to this, their users gain access to new functions, which may be convenient in case a system is to be extended in the future. Most of all, this group of programs includes FLASHX supporting control panels from the INTEGRA family, ACCO-FLASH for updating access control systems and the whole range of programs dedicated to individual devices.

The GUARDX program is a unique solution aimed at INTEGRA control panels enabling the system real-time visualisation and management features. Apart from ongoing graphic display of detailed system status information and granting access to the control panel events register, GUARDX may also make system control functions available. These features make GUARDX an ideal solution for a “control centeE” for physical protection of a guarded facility.

Mobile applications have been designed to enable EGITS systems users to take full advantage of capabilities offered by various devices. INTEGRA CONTROL enable remote control of INTEGRA control panels fitted with ETHM-1 or ETHM-1 Plus communication modules by means of mobile phones, smartphones or tablets. The VERSA CONTROL application enables remote management of the alarm system based on the VERSA and VERSA Plus control panel. For the users of PERFECTA alarm systems, PERFECTA CONTROL application was developed. The MICRA CONTROL application provides basic remote operation of the MICRA alarm module.

The CONFX configuration utility is a unique tool facilitating activities performed by alarm systems designers. It enables them to prepare a professionally completed installation design which takes event the slightest details into account. CONFX makes it possible not only to select devices and define their positions, but also supports designers in the process of creating the current balance of an installation. When the design stage is completed, the application allows to elaborate an offer for a Client including a comprehensive price estimate for system implementation.
